Tim O’Dey is the Strategic Initiatives Engineer at Royal Engineered Composites in Minden, NE. In his current role, he maintains a broad vision of industry trends to ensure that Royal's capabilities align with future aerospace needs. Potential process improvements to existing product lines, along with a development overview of emerging materials and processes, falls into the oversight of his current position.
He began his career at Royal in 2002 and has held positions in project engineering, program management, and engineering management before transitioning to his current role. Over that time, Royal has qualified composite materials along with their manufacturing facilities and processes for use on different commercial and military aerospace platforms for various Tier 1 and OEM customers.
Tim is a graduate of the University of Nebraska and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He stays busy on Saturdays in the fall as a Big 10 football official.
