Vidhyashankaran Iyer (known as Iyer) was appointed as the Global Vice President & General Manager of Honeywell Aerospace Trading (HAT) in January 2022. He is based in Phoenix, Arizona, Honeywell’s Aerospace Headquarters (HAT). HAT is a vertically integrated business. Iyer has the responsibility of sales, business, sourcing, procurement, and supply chain operations for Used Serviceable Material (USM) across all regions globally for the entire span of Honeywell Aerospace Product Portfolio including Engines, Avionics, Auxiliary Power Units, Mechanical Systems including Wheels & Brakes, Environmental Control Systems, Valves, and Starters. He executes strategic initiatives that include USM parts trading, repair and overhaul exchanges, spares (new and used), upgrades of all Honeywell equipment.
Prior to this role, Iyer was the Senior Director of Customer & Product Support (C&PS) for Honeywell Aerospace Americas Aftermarket Airlines. In this role, he was responsible for the customer and product lifecycle support, managing end-to-end customer experience including technical operations, customer relationship management and customer support operations.
Iyer holds a bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering from Mumbai University, India. He also holds a Post- graduate Diploma in Advance Computing. He is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, and a Lean Expert. His hobbies include spending quality time with his family, aviation & reading books.
